Hi, I'm John...

I come from a big family. I still have memories of growing up around so many aunts, uncles and cousins. Having a cookout on the weekend or getting together for breakfast after church on Sundays. All the fun times!

"Somebody" always had a camera (even though back then it wasn't digital). I never realized how much those times meant until after my mom passed away from cancer. I was given a huge gift when I got to bring home boxes and boxes of photos. Turns out, she was the one that seemed to always have the camera, haha!

Going through all of those old pictures brought back so many memories and am so thankful she captured them. I always had a tendency to do the same when my kids were born and I always had to grab a shot of them. Wonder where I got it from....

The irony is how now that instinctive ability to just be at the right place at the right time has all translated to capturing those moments for others. I understand how much those pictures mean to myself and find joy in being able to do the same for somebody else.

As a parent myself, I understand the importance of photos of family and especially children (or 'young adults!'). As a matter of fact, JADAN Photography was somewhat born out of my initial desire to capture my son's first official marching band season in high school. Funny enough, I saw so many kids having such a good time, I shot those moments as well and shared with the band. The band director then reached out to me and asked me if I could photograph the marching season. I had so much fun, it turned into others reaching out to me for photos, so I decided to start this as a fun side business. One that has grown to where this website is the next step.

I now offer this passion and ability as a service to you! Whether it is portraits, Senior/Graduation, Sports or other events like Marching Band, I am here to freeze that moment and pose in time with my own artistic style of shooting for you to cherish for ever!
